- Services are not clinically appropriate
4. Appointments & Consultations
We offer a free 15-minute consultation.
Booking a consultation does not guarantee acceptance as a client.
Scheduled therapy sessions are subject to:
- Availability
- Completion of intake paperwork
- Payment or verified insurance coverage
Cancellation and no-show policies are outlined in your intake agreement and must be acknowledged before services begin.
5. Insurance & Payment
We operate as a hybrid practice.
We accept:
- Aetna
- UHC
- UMR
- Oscar
- Oxford
For other plans, we may provide documentation for out-of-network reimbursement.
Clients are responsible for:
- Copays
- Deductibles
- Coinsurance
- Non-covered services
Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed upon.
6. Telehealth Services
Telehealth services are provided through HIPAA-compliant platforms.
By participating in virtual therapy, you acknowledge:
- Technology failures may occur
- Internet transmission cannot be guaranteed 100% secure
- You are responsible for attending sessions from a private, secure location
Telehealth consent forms must be completed before beginning virtual sessions.
7. SMS Communications
If you choose to opt in to receive text messages from Journey Forward ~ Somatic Therapy Tampa, you agree to receive occasional marketing and informational messages related to therapy services, wellness resources, and practice updates.
