Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under federal law, healthcare providers must give estimates to clients without insurance or who are not using insurance.
Payment & Cancellation Policy
Payment: Due at time of service. We accept all major credit cards, HSA, and FSA.
Cancellation: Please provide 48-hour notice to avoid a cancellation fee. We understand life happens—contact us if you need to reschedule.
Insurance Verification: We recommend calling your insurance provider to verify mental health benefits, copay amount, and deductible status before your first session.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you take my insurance? ⌄
We don't bill insurance directly, but are happy to provide a superbill for possible reimbursement. Somatic and EMDR work asks you to be honest about things that are often deeply personal — in your body, not just your history. Private pay means that story stays between us. Insurance companies require a mental health diagnosis to reimburse a claim, and that diagnosis becomes part of a permanent record that can follow you. It can also limit how many sessions you're "allowed," or dictate the type of treatment that's covered, regardless of what your body and nervous system need.
Working outside of insurance means the pace, frequency, and format of your care — weekly sessions, an intensive, or a self-guided experience — is a decision we make together, not one made by a claims department. Call us at (813) 407-3679 for more details.
What if you're out-of-network? ⌄
We provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement. Many clients receive significant reimbursement from their insurance company.
Can I use my HSA or FSA? ⌄
Yes! We accept HSA and FSA cards for all therapy services.
Do you offer sliding scale? ⌄
Yes, limited sliding scale spots are available. Discuss your situation during your consultation call.
Is there a fee for cancellations? ⌄
48-hour notice is required. Late cancellations may incur a fee, but we work with you when emergencies arise.
How do I know if therapy is reimbursable by my insurance? ⌄
Call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask:
- What are my out of network benefits?
- How do I submit my superbill (receipts)?
- By when do I need to submit by superbill in order to get reimbursed?
